What is with the age choice for this conference?

We wanted a conference that could accomidate all singles that have or soon will 'graduate' from the YSA, including those who have aged out of the MSA program. We recognize that this covers a very wide range of ages, and there will be many activities (including speed dating, dancing, and social sessions) that are split up by age so that all participants have many opportunities to meet others their own age.

Where will the conference be?

The conference will be held at various locations around Washington, DC and Arlingon, VA. Friday night will be held at the National Harbor in Maryland, Saturday will be held at churches off 23rd St. S. in Arlington, VA, the gala will be held at Museum of the Bible, and Sunday will be up at the Washington DC Temple.

The Ronald Reagan DCA airport is the closest to the conference activities, and is even a short metro ride away from the 23rd St meetinghouses. Dulles International Airport (IAD) is also within reasonable distance, and even has a metro connected to it for easy and economical access to the city.

Are refunds allowed?

We will not offer refunds, but we will allow for ticket transfers. If you have purchased a ticket and can no longer make it to the conference, please make every effort to find a person to buy your ticket from you (try posting on this Facebook group!(https://www.facebook.com/groups/140459486360712)).

I would like to attend the conference but can't afford it.

Accepted Answer

We would love for as many people to attend as possible. If you cannot afford the registration fee, please contact your bishop first and have him email us (committee@dcldssinglesconference.com).
